I grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada, and graduated from Las Vegas High School.  I received my B.A. in Psychology and minor in Rhetoric at University of California, Berkeley.  At UC Berkeley, I also took many acting and speech classes, and I enjoy presenting in front of a crowd.  After UC Berkeley, I attended William S. Boyd School of Law at University of Nevada, Las Vegas.  While at UNLV Law, I took Trial Advocacy class and learned trial techniques from a prominent Las Vegas trial attorney.

After graduating law school and passing the Nevada Bar, I worked in insurance defense and civil litigation (e.g. car accident and slip and fall defense) for four and a half years.  I worked for a regional defense firm for over one year, and then worked over three years for a large defense firm that employed nearly 800 attorneys across the U.S.  I have litigation experience at all levels, including small claims court, arbitration, mediation, and jury trials.  I have gone to jury trials with well-respected and highly experienced Las Vegas trial attorneys.

My current law firm focuses on plaintiff's personal injury, e.g. car accidents and slip and falls.  I also practice in intellectual property infringement, immigration, EB-5, business law (e.g. business formation, breach of contract, general counsel), judgment collection, workers' compensation, criminal defense, DUI, traffic tickets, family law, and wills and trusts.  I strive to provide effective and aggressive representation for all my clients.  My office is bilingual in Vietnamese to better serve the Vietnamese community.

I am a member of the Nevada State Bar.  I am also admitted to practice law in the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, as well as the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.  In my spare time, I am a member of Toastmasters.  At Toastmasters, we meet weekly to present speeches and evaluate each other's speeches.
